"My family has owned a brownstone in Brooklyn for over 50 years, and we only recently became aware that the white stuff on the basement pipes was asbestos which had been used for insulation. I called J and J Asbestos Abatement and, within a day, one of the owners visited us to assess the situation. He was clearly very knowledgeable and had a wealth of experience. We contacted several references and they gave the company rave reviews for successful abatement projects. We hired J & J and the work commenced about a week later. The crew was very professional, thorough, and completed the job on time and at a very competitive price. They started the job by decontaminating the basement to assure that any asbestos that had already broken off would be cleaned up. They then proceeded with the major abatement work. The job was done very thoroughly in one day and after the abatement, the pipes looked like new. J and J arranged for an air quality assessment as part of the process. Now the basement has a completely different feel and my family is no longer concerned about going into the basement which we always thought of as a dungeon. Thank you J and J !!!"
